From my perspective, several factors contribute to the overflow of junk messages. Firstly, online identity theft is an approach frequently used to get personal information, including cell phone numbers. This hidden danger exposes more people to the harassment of junk messages. Secondly, fierce commercial competition propels people to advertise via text messages, which is a relatively low-cost method. Thirdly, the improvement of information technology adds to the convenience of sending huge quantities of text messages simultaneously, which indirectly leads to the growing number of junk messages.

Although the problem causes concern, some feasible ways may offer a solution. For cell phone users, they should be more conscious about identity thefts and provide their phone numbers only to reliable sources. For telecommunication companies, they may design effective softwares to fend off unfriendly messages. For the government officials, they can launch propaganda campaigns to advocate for a junk-message-free society.

Hopefully, with joint efforts, we can enjoy texting services without spam in the foreseeable future.

Recently，a survey has been conducted on the percentages of workers in different age groups who use the computer in their work places. As is shown in the chart, the percentages of such workers ranging in age from 18-29, 30 - 49, 50 - 166 or above 65 were respectively 71.00%, 70.00%, 66.00% and 54.00%.

The results of the survey have revealed the trend that the younger the workers are, the more likely they are to use computers in work. Several factors may have contributed to this phenomenon. To begin with, with the rapid development of the computer, a lot of convenience is brought by the use of the computer. People do not need to calculate or write on paper themselves; instead, computers can do these tiring jobs efficiently, which saves both time and labor. Secondly, young people usually have more access to high-tech equipment and they are more interested in learning computer skills.
